Please plan on arriving for this clinic 15 minutes
prior to the start time. The clinic will be run by
certified instructors and club various club members
who have volunteered to help out. You will be given
instruction on the fundamentals of the game, some
basic rules, and then will go out on the ice and
learn how to deliver and sweep a rock!
Cost for this clinic is $25.
Please make checks payable to the Twin Cities
Curling Association.
Please mail all checks to:

The clinic is being held at the St. Paul Curling
Club at:
The St. Paul Curling Club
470 Selby Ave,
St Paul, MN 55102
Before arriving at the SPCC, please
dress appropriately. The
arena area is kept at about 40 degrees F (or 4 C for
our Canuck curlers):
-
Bring a light jacket, or sweater that fits
loosely.
-
Avoid wearing jeans or other "stiff" pant
material. Sweat-pants, or other stretchable
pants will allow you to deliver a curling rock
much more effectively.
-
Dedicate a pair of CLEAN (preferably NEW)
flat-soled tennis shoes for curling. Do
NOT
under any circumstances use hard soled shoes,
boots, or other shoes that you normally wear
outside. The smallest grain of sand or dirt
brought in from the outside can ruin a curling
ice surface. Specialized "curling shoes" are
available for purchase via the internet, but are
not necessary when first starting out. See the
club manager for recommended purchase locations
if you are interested.
